We are honoured to welcome Dr Viveka Kalidasan to the Board of the Bridge Institute as our newest trustee.
Viveka is Founder and CEO of River Ventures, a deep tech ecosystem venture builder and accelerator focused on Industry 5.0, backed by Enterprise Singapore. She was among the pioneers bringing the venture studio model to Asia Pacific, and works across venture building, fundraising and investor relations, corporate innovation and public and private collaboration, with particular depth in advanced manufacturing, medtech and global market entry across Asia Pacific, the Middle East and the United States.
She previously built Let-Lab, the Singapore innovation lab of Ultra Clean Holdings, from scratch. A researcher by training, her work on wireless sensing sutures was published in Nature Biomedical Engineering and featured on the journal's October 2021 cover. Viveka is co-founder of the Safe Space Collective for Women Trailblazers, founder of River Transformation Hub, and sits on the Board of the Singapore South Asia Chamber of Commerce and Industry. She has been recognised as one of MIT Technology Review's 35 Innovators Under 35, one of Singapore's Top 100 Women in Technology and an NUS Outstanding Young Alumni.
Viveka brings a wealth of experience, a global perspective and a passion for innovation. She will play a key role in expanding our impact in South-East Asia and South Asia, as well as globally.
