Heidi Lawson

Heidi Lawson is a Partner at the law firm Fenwick in New York, where she leads the insurtech practice.

She is a transactional and regulatory lawyer working at the intersection of insurance, financial services and technology, advising on the formation of insurance companies, mergers and acquisitions, public offerings and new products, including parametric, crypto and AI-based cover.

Heidi began her career in insurance operations, sales, claims and underwriting, earning the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter designation, and spent part of her career at the Financial Conduct Authority in London. She is admitted in New York and Massachusetts and is a solicitor in England and Wales.
