Dr. Bilal Pandow

Dr. Bilal Ahmad Pandow is an academic, researcher and editor whose work connects education, finance and social impact across regions and sectors. With more than two decades of experience in higher education, research leadership, publishing and community engagement, he focuses on translating knowledge into practical solutions for individuals, institutions and underserved communities.

He is the recipient of the Obada Prize in Social Sciences, an international recognition for innovative and interdisciplinary research. Dr. Pandow serves as Collection Editor for Wiley’s Climate Change: Towards a Sustainable Future initiative and is also an Editor with Humanities and Social Sciences Communications.

His research and advisory work spans financial inclusion, sustainable development, entrepreneurship, public policy and education systems. He has collaborated on consultancy, training and outreach initiatives across South Asia and the Middle East, with a particular interest in empowering youth and families through financial capability and life-skills education.Dr. Pandow is also an author committed to making finance accessible to wider audiences. His books for children, including MoneyVilla: Learn to be Money Smart and A to Z of Finance for Children, use storytelling and simple frameworks to build early financial literacy.

He brings a systems-focused perspective that bridges academia, policy, and practice, helping organisations design programmes that create measurable and lasting impact.
