Combatting Human Trafficking

To launch a systemic anti-trafficking initiative in Nepal and establish a long-term presence in India.

Why This Matters

Since 2017, the Bridge Institute has played a major role in reducing human trafficking, child marriage and gender-based violence across South Asia. In Nepal alone, 20,000 girls and women are trafficked each year, and over a million are at risk.

Our Approach

Having implemented breakthrough programmes across India, the Bridge Institute will now launch a systemic anti-trafficking initiative in Nepal, while establishing a long-term presence in India to continue this critical work.

The Outcomes Will Include

  • A dedicated programme in Nepal aiming to save more than 10,000 girls and women from trafficking, child marriage and gender-based violence.
  • A branch in India to support and enhance this work for the long term.
  • Using global marketing capability to raise awareness of human trafficking and how to prevent it.
