Charlie Curtis is an Architect at Bridge Institute.
Charlie was part of the team that designed and delivered the carbon dioxide removal Bridge Institute programme (UAE). Alongside his work with Bridge Institute, Charlie is an Associate Fellow and Entrepreneurship Expert at Saïd Business School where he specialises in impact-led innovation, corporate innovation culture, and corporate-led systems change. He designs and delivers Executive Education programmes, including the Oxford Advanced Management and Leadership Programme and he lectures MBAs and Diploma students.
He is co-founder/director/Chair of two Oxford climate tech spinouts: Origen, using the lime cycle for giga-tonne scale carbon removal, and DryGro: the next generation of plant-based protein.
He previously spent 20 years working with corporate innovators and start-up ventures, including as lead innovation advisor to The Intrapreneur Lab, the world’s largest corporate social accelerator, and a member of the UBS Young Academy Investment Committee. He has worked with hundreds of entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs in organisations such as GSK, BMW, Barclays, BP, Shell, Centrica, RBS, Disney, Pearson, Amcor in UK, USA, India, Africa and Australia. He also works with innovation teams in not-for-profits including Carbon Trust, Which? Young Foundation and Scope.
Charlie is a yachtmaster and has sailed in many parts of the world, including a memorable Southern Ocean voyage to the Antarctic. He has a Masters in Engineering Science from University of Oxford.
